Viewing of Leave Balance for Applying for future leave

When the earned leave setup is used, leave balances are calculated on earned basis. it becomes an issue if the employee wants to apply for future leave and the system is unable to show how much leave he/she can utilise as there is currently no such feature. for example, an employee entitled to 12 days leave in a year, wants to apply leave for June, in March. Based on earned leave, he/she should be able to use up to 6 days as he/she would have earned 6 days by June. however, based on the current setup, he/she can only apply up to 3 days and it is up to the leave administrator to allow/disallow for the employee to proceed with the leave application.

    is it possible to review this option before adding this feature in 2020?

    After some thoughts, the current feature is good enough under earned leave policy.

    We have many enhancements to work on for 2020 and would need to prioritize. You can expect this to be ready before mid 2020.
