We have employees who have been seconded overseas for short assignments, and they follow the host country's public holidays during this period. When we change the "Public Holiday Location" under People module, it changes all the records (even before being sent overseas). This makes the leave records messy as it does not correctly reflect the leave and PH records throughout the employee's employment.
I would like to suggest that the system can allow admins to set the effective date, so the new PH for the new country will only reflect from that date. And we can update the location and date when the employee returns.
